What is Mindful Breastfeeding with Indigo Orca?

The Mindful Breastfeeding workshop is an antenatal workshop which will teach you the knowledge and skills to help support you through your breastfeeding journey. The best time to learn about breastfeeding is during pregnancy when you have time to digest the information and prepare for when the baby is born. The workshop will build your confidence and resilience in preparation for your breastfeeding journey.

What can I expect from the course?

The Mindful Breastfeeding workshop is a 3 hour will teach you: 

  • How Breastfeeding works
  • What normal new-born feeding behaviour is
  • Positioning and latch
  • Feeding frequency
  • Weight Gain and feeding patterns
  • The mind & body connection
  • Relaxation techniques for pregnancy, breastfeeding and early parenthood
  • The power of affirmations
